Modern Dairy Health and Safety Targets

Our company implements the safety production policy of “safety first, prevention first, comprehensive management”, based on the group’s “dual strategy” model, and comprehensively upgrades the first-class safety quality system. With the core target of “double reduction and zero” that is, “the injury rate per million working hours decreases, the occupational disease incidence rate decreases, and the major safety production incidents are zero”, we establish a group-level safety action plan, and the targets for 2024 are as follows.

  • 0 death safety target
  • 0 environmental protection incidents above level three
  • Injury rate: ≤0.8 person/million working hours
  • Occupational disease incidence rate: ≤0.8%
  • Employee and contractor health and safety training percentage: 100%
  • Employee and contractor health and safety training hours: ≥ 16 hours (annual average)

The achievements of the 2023 targets is as follows:

  • 0 death safety target actual value: 0
  • 0 environmental protection incidents above level three actual value: 0
  • Injury rate actual value: 0.81 person/million working hours
  • Occupational disease incidence rate actual value: 0.89%
  • Employee and contractor health and safety training percentage actual value: 100%
  • Employee and contractor health and safety training hours actual value: 19.5 hours (annual average)

The company adheres to the management principle of “people-oriented”, combines the requirements of ISO 45001, national safety production standardization and dual prevention mechanism, establishes and continuously improves the occupational health and safety management system (OHS). The company’s farms establish and continuously improve the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system, and strive to obtain more extensive certification among the farms. As of December 31, 2023, 30 legal entities have successfully obtained the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system certification, accounting for 70%. In the future, the company will continue to improve the construction of the occupational health and safety management system and further increase the proportion of units certified by the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system.
