Modern Dairy Health and Safety Targets

Our company implements the safety production policy of “Safety First, Prevention Foremost, Comprehensive Management” and comprehensively upgrades a first-class safety and quality management system. With the core objective of “Two Reductions, One Zero” — reducing the Lost Time Injury Rate per million work hours, reducing the incidence rate of new occupational diseases, and achieving zero major safety production incidents — we have established a Group-level safety action plan.

The existing health and safety targets for 2024 are as follows:

  • 0 death safety target
  • Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) ≤ 0.45 cases per million working hours
  • New Occupational disease incidence rate: ≤0.80%
  • Employee and contractor health and safety training percentage: 100%
  • Average health and safety training hours of employee and contractor every year: ≥ 16 hours

The company expanded the scope of all 2024 targets from the original scope to include all employees and contractors.

The Company upholds a “people-oriented” management approach and has established and continuously improves its occupational health and safety management system in accordance with ISO 45001, national safety production standardization requirements, and dual prevention mechanism. All farms under the Company have established and continue to enhance their ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management systems, striving to obtain broader certification across farms. As of December 31, 2024, all 36 completed Modern Dairy farm companies have achieved ISO 45001 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, representing a 100% certification rate. (Some farms are still under construction and do not yet meet the conditions for ISO 45001 certification. As new farms are completed, we will continue to monitor progress and ensure timely completion of the ISO 45001 certification process.)
